Bromilow has a strong commitment to quality care and client satisfaction. The company works extensively with a diverse range of government subsidised community care programs both at a Commonwealth and State level and also offers a wide range of fee for service support options.
Bromilow, a private company, first commenced service delivery on the Sunshine Coast in 1993. We support clients throughout the broader region, covering an area of some 2,500 square kilometres.
Bromilow provides employment for around one hundred local people who possess a diverse range of skills including Certificate III and IV Aged Care and Disability qualifications, enrolled nurses, registered and clinical nurses and allied health professionals.
Bromilow supports many hundreds of elderly and younger disabled people to continue to live independently in their local communities. Importantly, with Bromilow’s support, family carers are able to have ‘time-out’ to enhance their own lives.
Bromilow’s client focused support helps clients to achieve the goals that are important to them. Not only do clients receive support with the everyday activities of daily life but a significant component of this support facilitates community access, reduces social isolation and allows clients to remain connected to the important strands in their lives.
Increasingly technology is playing an important part in Bromilow’s service models. Life Enhancing Technologies, under the broader Telecare umbrella, allow clients greater levels of independence and empowerment, provide reassurance to family carers, provide meaningful opportunities for our care staff to add value to their roles and also make best use of funding.
Bromilow’s approach to its relationship with clients is summed up quite simply: ‘Care that goes deeper’.
