Personal Care

When you or a loved one needs in-home care, Bromilow can help. Whatever the requirement, we take pride in matching our carers and our services to suit the needs and wishes of our clients.

For the elderly, frail or those with a disability, we provide assistance with showering, toileting and getting in and out of bed - as well as respite care, companionship, medication monitoring and community access (including transport to appointments or help to do the shopping).

Bromilow's care staff are able to provide valuable social contact to people who may be lonely or socially isolated.

We work closely with other support organisations - as well as Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Hospitals - to provide sensitive, detailed, in-home care with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Importantly, we are not an agency. Our care staff are our own people. Everyone who works for Bromilow is an employee, selected for their professional experience and personal qualities. All staff are credentialed with aged and community care qualifications and have a National Police Check. Bromilow's staff are trained in our own special way to provide care that goes much deeper than simply assisting.

Home Care Package services, funded through the Commonwealth Department of Health, are available to assist many elderly people. Bromilow is proud to have been involved in the Government’s home care package programs on the Sunshine Coast since 1995.

A diverse range of in-home support options are available through Bromilow's involvement in the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). CHSP services assist people aged 65 years and more as well as the carers of people with dementia and the carers of people who are frail aged and can assist with 24 hour in-home respite care.

Bromilow is also an Approved Provider of Veterans' Home Care services for the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Domestic assistance, community access, in-home respite and social support are also available through Bromilow's Home and Community Care (HACC) program, funded by the Queensland Government.

Assistance is also available on a fee for service basis.

Services are available 365 days a year.
